ARLINGTON, Wash. – A 16 year-old female is currently being transported to Providence Regional Medical Center in critical condition after being rescued from the river at Twin Rivers Park.  Around 2:20 p.m. a call was made to 911 that there was a person in the river.  Bystanders pulled her from the river bottom water and immediately started CPR.  It was reported that she had been under water for approximately three minutes. Arlington fire and EMS personnel arrived and took over life-saving efforts, placing her on a backboard and floating her to the other side of the river to an aid car.  The female was at the park with other teens, none of whom were wearing life jackets.

One week ago today, the body of a 16 year-old male was recovered from Twin Lakes Park.
