Sheriff’s Office Investigates Homicide on York Rd FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: September 20, 2017 EVERETT, Wash. - Detectives with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the murder of an adult female this morning at the 3100 block of York Rd. Around 2 a.m., several calls were made to 911 from several people in the area reporting that they could hear the sounds of gunshots. When deputies arrived, they found a deceased female inside the residence with obvious gunshot wounds. Another adult female and three children were also inside the house. No other injuries or deaths have been reported. At this time, a suspect has not been identified. Detectives are processing evidence and following up on leads. This is an active homicide investigation. York Rd between Beverly Park Rd and Alexander Rd will be closed for several hours for the investigation. ##
