Sheriff’s Office Seeks Video for York Rd Homicide

EVERETT, Wash. - Detectives with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office are looking for video and/or photos from home and business surveillance cameras in the surrounding areas near Wednesday’s homicide.  Specifically, they are looking for anything captured between the hours of 1 and 3 a.m. on September 20 that shows vehicle and/or pedestrian traffic within a one mile radius from the 3100 block of York Re.
Detectives ask that if anyone has any information related to the incident to please call the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Tipline at 425-388-3845.
A reverse 911 call was made to area residences last night and investigators canvassed the area on foot today asking area residents for any related video footage.
Last Wednesday, a 24 year-old woman was found murdered at the 3100 block of York Rd after several “shots fired” calls were made to 911 around 2 a.m.  The deceased female inside the residence appeared to have died from gunshot wounds, although the cause and manner of her death is pending from the Snohomish County Medical Examiner. 
At this time, a suspect has not been identified. Detectives continue to process evidence from the crime scene and arefollowing up on leads.
