Search Continues for Missing 6 year-old Autistic Boy in Lynnwood

Lynnwood, Wash. – Detectives and Search and Rescue personnel and volunteers are still searching for 6 year-old Dayvid Pakko in the area near 15700 44th Ave W. The Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue helicopter was also searching the area.  Dayvid was last seen in his apartment around 2:30 p.m. and was reported missing just before 5 p.m.

More than 40 volunteers with the Sheriff's Office search and rescue unit have been deployed and 44th Ave W is closed between 156th St SW and Hwy 99 for search and rescue operations. 

Civilian volunteers from the community are not needed at this time and the public is asked to avoid the area. 

Residents who live in the area are asked to turn on all outside lights and search their property and outbuildings especially places where a small child might hide or go for safety.
