Sheriff’s Office Investigates Shooting at Bar

EVERETT, Wash. – Detectives with the Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit are investigating a shooting that occurred around 2 a.m. at a bar at the 13600 block of Hwy 99, leaving one man dead and one injured.  Witnesses reported that there was an altercation between patrons and a 29 year-old man left the bar, retrieved a gun from his vehicle and began firing shots in the parking lot, injuring one of the patrons. That victim, a 23 year-old Lynnwood man, was transported to Harborview Regional Medical Center with a gunshot wound and is expected to recover.  A 28 year-old male employee of the bar who was armed shot and killed the suspect. No arrests have been made at this time and this incident remains under investigation.
