SNOHOMISH, Wash. – On Wednesday, a 42-year-old Sultan man was arrested for first-degree robbery in connection to the February 7 coffee stand robbery in the 17800 block of State Route 9.

Around 10:40 a.m. Monday, February 7, deputies responded to reports of an armed robbery in unincorporated Snohomish. The suspect pulled up to the coffee stand in a pickup truck, ordered a coffee, and when the employee went to hand it to him, he pointed a shotgun at her and demanded money. The victim gave the suspect approximately $60 and he fled the scene.

On Tuesday, south precinct detectives positively identified the suspect and also linked him to two recent robberies that occurred on February 3 in Everett and Edmonds.

Around 10 a.m. Wednesday, detectives located and arrested the suspect at his job site in Bellevue. The 42-year-old Sultan man was arrested and booked into the Snohomish County Jail for first-degree robbery.

Detectives served multiple search warrants and recovered evidence used by the suspect in both the Edmonds and Snohomish robberies.

This remains an active investigation.
