Major Crimes Unit Detectives Investigate Early Morning Shooting in South Everett

EVERETT, Wash. - Around 2 a.m., deputies responded to a shooting in the 11700 block of 12th Place W. Upon arrival, deputies located the victim, a 37-year-old man, with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported by aid to Providence Regional Medical Center. 


Major Crimes Unit (MCU) detectives responded to the scene to investigate. 


Detectives learned the victim was outside in a residential parking lot when he was shot multiple times. The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle. 


Shortly after the shooting, a nearby residence was burglarized by an adult male. The burglary suspect fled from the scene on foot. Robbery and Burglary Unit (RBU) detectives responded to investigate. At this time, it is unknown if the two incidents are connected. 


This remains an active investigation.
