Major Crimes Unit Detectives Make Arrest in Thursday Night Shooting and Seek Witnesses

SNOHOMISH, Wash. - A 22-year-old Lake Stevens man was taken into custody around 3 p.m. Friday for second-degree murder in connection with Thursday night’s drive by shooting in the 1600 block of S. Machias Road. Detectives are now seeking the public’s help in locating individuals who may have witnessed the incident. Detectives are looking to speak with:

 

? The occupants of the dark colored Jeep Grand Cherokee (pictures attached) with three dark rims and one silver rim on the driver side. 

? Anyone who witnessed the victim and an adult female around 7:40 p.m. Thursday attempting to slow vehicle traffic on S. Machias Road for deer crossing. 

? Anyone who witnessed the suspect’s vehicle in the area before or after the incident. 

 

The suspect’s vehicle, a silver 2001 Lexus GS300 with large rims and low-profile tires (pictures attached), was driving northbound on S. Machias Road around 7:45 p.m. Thursday. This vehicle was impounded by detectives Friday afternoon as evidence.

 

At this time, detectives do not believe there is any danger to the community.
