Vehicle from Kent Shooting Found at Trailhead

INDEX – The vehicle believed to have been driven by a man into a Kent home earlier this morning has been located at the Lake Serene Trailhead, just off of Hwy 2 between Gold Bar and Index. The body of a white male was discovered lying next to the vehicle with what appeared to be self-inflicted gunshot wounds. Identity, cause and manner of death of the deceased will be confirmed by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office will conduct a death investigation, as is standard, and assist the King County Sheriff’s Office in their investigation.
