Snohomish County Emergency Management is working with the Snohomish ACS team to deliver a Technician Class Course November 1 and 3, 2023 (Wednesday and Friday).  This will be an accelerated two day course.  There are three current FCC-issued amateur radio licenses classes; Technician, General and Extra.  This class will help you get from unlicensed to Technician starting Wednesday morning and ending with the license exams on Friday afternoon.  
The textbook is optional and available for purchase directly from Amazon in paperback or Kindle format. We can also supply a book but need to know how many copies to purchase. Course fees can be paid at the door ($30 for course, test and book, $15 for course, test and no book). The FCC will also charge a $35 licensing fee and will contact you by email after passing the test. The FCC requires applicants use their personal FCC Registration Number (FRN).  It is helpful to get an FRN before class.
