Don’t Wait - Return Voted Ballots As Soon as Possible

Everett, WA – Voting is underway for registered voters in Snohomish County! Voters are encouraged to return completed ballots as soon as practical. Completed ballots must be delivered to a designated drop location by 8pm on Election Day or if returned by mail, postmarked no later than Election Day, November 8.

“Election Day will be busy and we expect increased traffic around ballot drop boxes.  I encourage voters who have made up their minds to vote and return their ballot as soon as possible.   Returning your ballot early also ensures that the preliminary results we release on Election Night will represent a large majority of voters,” said Snohomish County Auditor Carolyn Weikel.

Ballots can be returned through a ballot drop box, a mobile ballot drop box van, an accessible voting site, directly to the Auditor’s Office or by mail.  A complete listing of locations, services and hours can be found on the inserts that accompanied the ballots, in the voters’ pamphlet, or on the Snohomish County Elections website at www.snoco.org/elections .

Voters can check the status of their returned voted ballot by visiting the elections website and following the link “Has the Auditor’s Office Received my Ballot”.

Ballots returned through the mail must be post marked no later than Tuesday, November 8. Due to the large number of state and local measures on the ballot, $0.68 postage is needed.  As always, the Auditor’s Office accepts and processes ballots with insufficient postage.

Mobile ballot drop box vans are available as a new service this year. Mobile ballot drop box vans are parked at specific locations during specific hours and days.  The mobile ballot drop box van schedule is:
