Snohomish County’s Southwest Recycling and Transfer Station in Mountlake Terrace Will Be Closed December 9-10, 2016
Recycling area to remain open, but yard waste will not be accepted during the two-day closure
EVERETT, Wash., November 28, 2016 – The Snohomish County Public Works Solid Waste Division will temporarily close its Southwest Recycling and Transfer Station (SWRTS) in Mountlake Terrace on December 9-10, 2016. The closure will allow for major floor repairs in the transfer station area. During this time, the recycling area will remain open during regular hours, however, yard waste will not be accepted.
Residents and businesses planning to use the facility on these two days are asked to use the Airport Road Recycling and Transfer Station in Everett. SWRTS will reopen on Sunday, December 11 at 8 a.m. The repairs are funded by transfer station customer fees.
