Year-long series looks at ways to effectively address traffic congestion
EVERETT, Wash., May 19, 2017—Join us on Wednesday, May 24, to learn the City of Bothell’s approach to addressing congestion and how the coordination between proposed developments and transportation planning efforts will help to ease the impacts of traffic growth. Sherman Goong, Transportation Planner with the City of Bothell, will speak on this topic at 6:15 p.m. in Public Meeting Room #1 on the first floor of the Snohomish County Administration Building East (3000 Rockefeller Avenue, Everett).
This presentation is sponsored by Snohomish County Tomorrow (SCT). SCT is hosting a year of educational programs that examine the factors contributing to traffic congestion and the measures that cities, the county, the region, and the State are currently taking to address it. The focus will be on innovative, effective ways to ease congestion, as well as what other agencies, businesses and community members can do to help address congestion.
