Free Upcoming Film Series to Focus on Local and Global Marine Shorelines
Local marine resource organizations to show films and engage in discussion at local colleges through April
EVERETT, Wash., Jan. 18, 2018 — Snohomish County residents interested in learning more about the Puget Sound and global marine environment are invited to attend a free community film series. The series will showcase three film events focusing Puget Sound Salmon Recovery, River Restoration on the Elwha River, and coral reef protection around the world.
The 2018 Our Coast Community Film Series will feature discussions led by film directors and marine experts from around the northwest. Participants will also receive information on how to monitor changes at local beaches through the MyCoast App.

Where: Everett Community College – Jackson Conference Center
University of Washington Bothell – North Creek Events Center
What: Free community film series. Guest speakers will be at each event for a short discussion on each screening.
