David Henry’s Art on Display at the Robert J. Drewel Building in Everett

Exhibit runs June 14-August 12, 2019

EVERETT, Wash, June 11, 2019 – The Snohomish County Arts Commission announced this week a new art exhibit by Snohomish County artist David Henry. The works will be on display from June 14-August 12, 2019 in the main floor lobby of the Robert J. Drewel Building (3000 Rockefeller Ave, Everett, WA 98201).

David Henry is a visual artist living and creating in the downtown creative district of Everett, Washington. His work explores everyday life and people from friends and family to everyday life scenes like grass and weeds. His aim is to serve the community with artworks that display the simple beauty of everyday life.

Henry describes his work this way: It is the passionate documentation of people, places and things in front of me. When I am fortunate enough to have company, it is that company that appears on the canvas. If I am lucky enough to venture out into the world, it is the weeds and blades of grass that catch my attention. When I am content to ignore the world around me, it is the simple expression of line, shape, and value. The beauty of my friendships are akin to the joy gifted from Mother Nature and the wonder of the imaginative spirit.”
