Lord Hill Regional Park
Trail System Designation and Preferred Plan Update
Help plan the future of Lord Hill Regional Park.
Snohomish County Parks, Recreation and Tourism is performing updates to the Lord Hill Regional Park Master Plan, including designating an official Trail System Designation Plan.Interim Trail Designations will be based on previous public input and is planned to include:
•Alternative 1 – Shared Use Trail System developed by stakeholder groups
•Alternative 2 – Separated Use Trail System developed to address additional environmental concerns
•Both Alternatives will include a wayfinding and sign plan to be implemented in 2020. Implementation of the trail system designations could occur as early as 2019.
The Preferred Plan update will consider expanding parking options, a new critical area reconnaissance map, and future designated trails:
•Alternative 1 – Shared Use Trail System with new hiking, equestrian and bike trails
•Alternative 2 – Separated Use Trail System with new hiking, equestrian and bike trails. Also to include protection of the Snohomish River riparian area with a new Conservation Area Designation
•Alternative 3 – No changes
We invite you to come learn about these projects and provide input.
