Applicants Sought for Housing and Community Development Projects

Applications for an estimated $4.4 million in federal funds for affordable housing, public facilities, infrastructure, services, and tenant based rental assistance will be accepted until November 12, 2019


EVERETT, Wash., October 8, 2019 - Snohomish County is encouraging nonprofit organizations and government agencies to review the Notices of Fund Availability (NOFAs) and submit applications for housing, public facility and infrastructure, services, and tenant based rental assistance.


An estimated $4.4 million in federal funds is anticipated to be available for the 2020 program year, which begins July 1, 2020. Projects must benefit low- and moderate-income persons or neighborhoods in Snohomish County.


Interested applicants can attend workshops in early October in the Snohomish County Robert J. Drewel Building (Administration Building East) on the county campus at 3000 Rockefeller Ave. in Everett.


CDBG Housing Application Workshop – Monday, October 14, 2019, Conference Room 6A02, 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Public Facility & Infrastructure Application Workshop – Monday, October, 14, 2019, Conference Room 6A02, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

CDBG Public Services, ESG, EHP, and HOME TBRA Application Workshops – Wednesday, October 16, 2019, Conference Room 6A03, 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.


Details of eligibility and other program requirements are available in the NOFA, which can be found online starting on October 7, 2019 at: http://snohomishcountywa.gov/ApplicationsforAvailableFunds. Applications must be completed and returned to the Snohomish County Human Services Department by 4 p.m., on Tuesday, November 12, 2019.
