Drainage Manual Changes
All five volumes are being updated and the county is currently taking comment
EVERETT, Wash., June 8, 2021 – The Snohomish County Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is currently taking written comments on proposed changes to the Snohomish County Drainage Manual, due by 5 p.m., June 18, 2021.
The Drainage Manual is being revised to meet requirements of the county’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) municipal stormwater permit. The Drainage Manual is adopted as a departmental rule by the DCNR Director. Revisions to the Drainage Manual must be adopted and effective by July 1.
Join the Snohomish County Executive’s Office and DCNR staff at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 14 for a Virtual Public Briefing to learn about the proposed 2021 updates to the Snohomish County Drainage Manual.
