Evergreen State Fair Announces Fair Concerts for 2021
MONROE, Wash., June 15, 2021 – Every year, the Evergreen State Fair entertains fair goers with diverse nights of exciting Grandstand Stage concerts. The much-anticipated concert line-up is here with the announcement of the concert series. The 2021 lineup: Rock hit-maker legend Tommy James & The Shondells; Country artist Chris Janson; Christian artist Zach Williams; and award-winning female mariachi band Flor de Toloache.
On Monday, August 30, will be a night to hear hit songs by Tommy James & The Shondells, such as “Crystal Blue Persuasion”, “Crimson & Clover”, and “Mony Mony.” With over 50 years in the music business, they have produced 23 gold records, 9 platinum albums, and over 100 million records sold worldwide…and 32 Billboard Hot 100 Chart Hits!
Country artist Chris Janson performs on Tuesday, August 31. Breakout country star Janson is a platinum-selling recording artist, high-octane entertainer, multi-instrumentalist, and award-winning singer/songwriter. His hits include “Buy Me a Boat”, “Fix a Drink”, and “Drunk Girl.” Who is Chris Janson? He’s a “live legacy in the making” (Rolling Stone).
Zach Williams is a husband, father, singer, songwriter, worship leader, Grammy-award winning and GMA Dove award winner. He has made music history with two consecutive No. 1 hits at radio totaling 35 weeks. As one of CCM’s leading artists and songwriters, he blends southern rock, country and faith-filled songwriting. His music comes from a place of humility and honesty. He will be performing on Thursday, September 2.
Performing on Friday, September 3, Latin GRAMMY-winning, New York-based ensemble Flor de Toloache is one of the finest all-female mariachi groups on the planet. Flor de Toloache’s members hail from diverse cultural backgrounds such as Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Australia, Colombia, Germany, Italy and the United States. This defines their unique flavor and sound. The result of this cultural bouquet is an edgy, versatile and fresh take on traditional Mexican music. While working to preserve centuries old traditions of Mariachi, their mélange of the traditional and the modern pushes the boundaries of the genre and brings Mariachi music to new audiences.
