Veterans Memorial Ceremony to rededicate Haller Bridge in Arlington


The first memorial of its kind in Snohomish County to honor military veterans killed in post-9/11 conflicts will be unveiled Memorial Day 2022

 

WHAT: A portion of the Centennial Trail will be rededicated on Memorial Day in honor of Snohomish County residents who perished during the Global War on Terror (GWOT), 9/11/2001 to the present. A sculpture by a local artist and interpretive kiosk are also a part of the veterans memorial.  

 

The Color Guard will be doing a presentation of colors. Snohomish County Executive Dave Somers, Snohomish County Councilmember Nate Nehring, Snohomish County Executive Operations Officer Joshua Dugan, Snohomish County Parks Director Jeremy Husby, and the Snohomish County Arts Commission will be speaking. This event is open to the public.

WHEN: Saturday, May 30, 2022 – 9:00 am
