Snohomish County Solid Waste Southwest Recycle and Transfer Station Temporarily Closed, Will Reopen Sunday, August 14 and Longer Wait Times Likely
Southwest Recycle and Transfer Station Experiencing Operational and Maintenance Issues Due to an On-Site Fire
Snohomish County, Wash., August 13, 2022 – The Snohomish County Solid Waste Southwest Recycle and Transfer Station (SWRTS) was closed on Saturday, August 13 due to an on-site fire which has since been addressed. The SWRTS will reopen on Sunday, August 14, however there is likely to be a slowdown in service and longer wait times.
Anyone intending to visit the SWRTS should check this website to review wait times before leaving: https://snohomishcountywa.gov/465/Facility-Locations or consider using other County transfer stations. All other facilities are open.
