Tickets on Sale Now for Focus on Farming and Focus on Forestry

The only farm-focused conference returns to Snohomish County for first time in two years

MONROE, Wash., October 20, 2022 – Snohomish County recently announced the details for the 2022 Focus on Farming and Focus on Forestry conference, being held Thursday, November 10, 2022 at the Evergreen State Fair Park in Monroe, WA. During this year’s Focus on Farming—titled “New Challenges, New Opportunities”—participants will find an exciting mix of topics, ideas, and speakers focused on helping expand the opportunities, sustainability, and economic viability of the region’s farms and forestlands for only $60 for advance registration/$30 advance student.

One Day, One Place–Farmers, Foresters, Supporters, and Partners

Focus on Farming is the only one-day gathering of its type in Washington State. In one location, you’ll have access to growers large and small, organic, and conventional. Our attendees raise livestock, fruit, row crops, hay, Christmas trees, timber, and much, much more. The 2022 theme, “New Challenges, New Opportunities”, highlights innovation, best practices, practical knowledge, and the latest research aimed at helping our farmers and foresters grow their businesses. This year’s conference includes diverse tracks and workshop sessions on topics as far ranging as: agritourism; livestock production; youth and beginning farmers; new technology in agriculture; the business of farming; and much more. For the latest list of tracks, sessions, and conference information, visit http://www.focusonfarming.org.

Nationally Recognized Speakers

Don’t miss the amazing morning and lunch keynote speakers. Michelle Miller (known as "the Farm Babe") has made a name for herself as a dedicated myth-buster in the food industry and has influenced corporations as powerful as Burger King. Matt Rush’s story of planting new seeds to overcome adversity is inspiration to any audience. Having grown up on a farm and ranch in rural New Mexico, he brings a common sense, “farm boy” logic and humor to his speaking.

Trade Show

The heart of the conference is the enticing trade show. Vendors and organizations representing all segments of the industry’s needs will be there from heavy equipment and hand tools to expertise and insurance. Attendees have plenty to see and do in between workshops!

Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsorships and vendor booths are still available. Please join our continued efforts to educate, support, and grow the agriculture and forestry industries by sponsoring and/or exhibiting at Focus on Farming 2022. If you are interested in becoming a part of the trade show, contact Sherry Stovner at (360) 805-6726 or Sherry.Stovner@snoco.org
