Inspire Washington’s Cultural Futures Roadshow Coming to Snohomish County on May 25, 2023
Snohomish County, Wash., May 18, 2023.
Who: Artists, organizations, administrators, elected officials, and enthusiasts are urged to attend this interactive, in-person event hosted by the Snohomish County Arts Commission and Port of Everett.
What: Inspire Washington brings the Cultural Futures Roadshow to Snohomish County!
The program will include:
- Speakers: Snohomish County Councilmember Megan Dunn and Snohomish County Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Director Tom Teigen
- A debrief of state legislative session wins such as HB 1575, which provides councilmanic authority for the cultural access programs, and how communities can start them
- Education on how to get ready to receive funds from the $2 million sector award
- Snohomish County industry priorities for state level advocacy and support
