Applicants Sought for Housing and Community Development Projects

Applications for an estimated $2.7 million in federal funds for affordable housing, public facilities, infrastructure, and services will be accepted until November 9, 2023.


SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash., October 5, 2023 - Snohomish County is encouraging nonprofit organizations and government agencies to review the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOF0) and submit applications for affordable housing, public facilities, infrastructure, and services.


An estimated $2.7 million in federal funds is anticipated to be available for the 2024 program year, which begins July 1, 2024. Projects must benefit low- and moderate-income persons or neighborhoods in Snohomish County.


Interested applicants are encouraged to attend one of three virtual application workshops:


  1. Public Services Workshop: October 11, 2023, at 10:30 a.m.
  2. Public Facilities and Infrastructure Workshop:  October 11, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
  3. CDBG Housing Workshop: October 12, 2023, at 9:00 a.m.


Details of eligibility, workshop dates and times, and other program requirements are available in the application materials at Applications.  Applications must be completed and returned to the Snohomish County Human Services Department by 4:00 p.m., on Thursday, November 9, 2023.
