Drivers who regularly use North Road in Mill Creek will need to plan ahead for a weekend-long road closure Oct. 24 through Oct. 27.
Beginning at 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 24, Snohomish County crews will close North Road to all traffic – including bicyclists and pedestrians – at the 170th Place SW intersection. The road will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27. Alternate routes are available along Larch Way, to the west, and Bothell-Everett Highway (SR 527) to the east.
During the closure, crews will raise the level of 170th Place SW where it connects to North Road to improve sight distance at the intersection. This work is weather dependent and could be rescheduled in the event of rain.
