Willis Tucker Community Park is a gently-sloped, forested 84-acre site immediately adjacent to the residential communities of Silver Firs and Snohomish Cascade, three miles east of Mill Creek. 

Named after Snohomish County's first County Executive, this beautiful park is home to the Park Department's administration offices.  Popular amenities include a spray parkoff-leash dog area, amphitheater (which hosts summer movies in the park), and an activity center ideal for hosting indoor .

Park History

Snohomish County Parks and Recreation Department purchased as surplus land from the County Solid Waste Division in 2000 and dedicated to Willis D.Tucker, Snohomish County’s first executive, as a community park and athletic field site. 

Driving Directions:

From I-5, take the 128th Street exit and drive east approximately four miles to Snohomish-Cascade Drive. (128th Street becomes 132nd and then 134th as you drive east.) Turn right onto Snohomish-Cascade Drive. At the first stop sign, turn left onto Puget Park Drive. Park entrance is the next left. View a map

Student Parking

Glacier Peak High School students can purchase a limited number of parking passes which will enable them to park in the east lot of Willis Tucker Park during the school year.  Gates open at 6:30am M-F and close at dusk (20 minutes after sunset).  Note:  Students participating in after-school activities should move their cars, prior to dusk, to avoid getting locked-in.  The Off-Leash Dog Area lot is closed to student parking.

Passes can be purchased at the park's main administration building M-F during business hours.  Students with a Learner's Permit may pre-purchase their pass.  Passes are $50 but is subject to change.  For the most current rate, visit our Fees & Prices page, then click on the Fee Schedule.  

     To purchase a pass:


  • Download and print an application form  
  • Take completed form to the Willis Tucker Park Administration Building
    • Form requires both student and parent signatures
    • Parent does not need to accompany student
    • Include data for all vehicles student will use
  • Present valid driver's license 
  • Payment by Visa/Mastercard or check (remit to SCPR)
  • Parks Department will hold pre-purchased passes until student presents valid drivers license
