      Before submitting your investigation request, be sure to verify the following:

      • Do we handle it? Visit our homepage to verify that your complaint is handled by Code Enforcement.
      • Code or permit questions? Please call our Permit and Planning staff for code, zoning or permit status questions.

      • Do you have the address? Verify that the complaint is within unincorporated Snohomish County. Locate the property address using these online tools. Unfortunately, we cannot process complaints without an exact address or parcel number.

      • One address/parcel number per request. If you have concerns about more than one property, please submit a separate request for each property.

      After submitting your investigation request, please allow at least 2 weeks for the Code Enforcement Officer to follow up on the alleged violations.

      • Status. Within a week or less, you’ll receive an email with your case number and the contact information for the assigned Code Enforcement Officer. Please contact the assigned Officer directly for an update. If you don’t receive our email, please check your spam box.
